Life in the South
Sam talked me into following the example of my sisters so I have my own blog. Whoa! The first journal in a long time. It's finally cooling off down here. 60-85 degree weather. About perfect. Well, it's still a little warm- but not much. Sam came home early tonight for the last time cause he changing to shift work next week which means that 12 1/2 hr shifts aren't going to be cut short by someone coming in early. But the kids were so excited to see him come out the door into the back yard. They just yelled and ran over to him. How cool is that.
We have really nice, and patient, neighbors. Both of their kids are older than Slade and Scott but they have our kids over anyway. Our boys stand at the fence while the neighbors are outside and stare at them. Crazy. Sometimes I am out there trying to keep the boys busy and they still ignore me and all the other excitement in our yard (what? the swing set) and stare at the neighbors. So they let us all come over. Actually we are friends. So it's cool.
I love my family and am excited to share the excitement that goes thru our lives. It's crazy/fun. And we love it.
